Dr. Thomas Neubauer

Professional Experience:

Thomas is co-founder of Dimetor GmbH, creator of AirborneRF, a software solution specialized for connecting cellular network operators with aviation systems. Thomas Neubauer is also VP of Business Development and Innovations at TEOCO.

On behalf of GSMA and GUTMA (Global UTM Association), Thomas is leading the “Interface for data exchange between Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and aviation ecosystem”. He holds a Ph.D. in telecommunications engineering from the Vienna University of Technology.

Present Activities:

Thomas is currently working with major telecom providers around the globe helping them in the digital airspace strategy. The airspace digitization will enable 5G application cases for new industry segments such as end-to-end IoT solutions delivered by drones. Application cases include industrial inspection, public safety/first responders, as well as parcel delivery.
