Professional Background & Current Focus:

Dominic Hayes works for the European Commission in the Directorate General responsible for Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS) and is the frequency manager for the EU Space Programme, which includes IRIS². He's been working on Space matters with the European Commission since 2007, and prior to that covered Galileo for the UK from 2000. Dominic studied Electronic Engineering and Satellite Communications in London and has previously worked for the UK communications regulator Ofcom.
